Welcome to Vermont Speech and Swallow.

My name is Emily. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) offering private practice services in Northwestern Vermont. I earned my Bachelors degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of Pittsburgh in 2015, and went on to receive my Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Vermont in 2018. Since then, I have been living in Burlington and working with pediatric and adult clients in the hospital-setting in Central Vermont.

Areas of particular interest to me include pediatric feeding disorders, cognitive communication deficits, adult swallowing disorders, concussion management, and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

I strive to help clients achieve their own communication goals so they can have a higher quality of life and participate in the activities they enjoy most. Through development of an enjoyable and sensitive therapeutic relationship, I believe we can achieve those goals together.
